Strangers Help Strangers (S.H.S.) is a short message service (SMS) that explores our landscape in relation to those who are in it at the moment. Whether you are passing through as a tourist or a true local, S.H.S. is a platform that utilizes the “local” strangers in one’s surrounding real-time network to ask and answer possible day-to-day questions. Using a keyword-based structure, S.H.S. guides the user to cast a question anonymously to those who have also signed up for the service in their local surroundings. This very simple interface is meant to cater to any person and suitable for any mobile phone. I created a user interface demo to explain this service.
